Job summary

UCT is seeking a skilled CNC Operator in Hillsboro, OR to set up, run, and optimize CNC machines, delivering precision metal components that meet strict specifications. The role requires reading blueprints, selecting tooling, and performing machine adjustments with attention to quality and safety.

The successful candidate will document production accurately, maintain equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3–5 years preferred, including program editing and multi-axis machine operation.
• Experience reading complex engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines for parts in stainless steel, steel, and aluminum.
• Make necessary offsets and adjustments to CNC programs and machine settings.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings with calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine care on equipment.
• Accurately complete job travelers and inspection logs in the system.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet production goals.
