Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our 24/7 manufacturing facility in Massachusetts. The role focuses on maintaining CNC equipment and post‑processing systems, ensuring high machine uptime, and supporting facilities operations.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/e pneumatic systems, following safety protocols. You will collaborate with maintenance planners, mentor junior staff, and contribute to a proactive maintenance program

Qualifications

This role requires hands-on CNC equipment maintenance experience and strong electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge.
Proficiency with reading technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Coordinate maintenance with planners to create weekly proactive plans.
Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment and post-processing machinery.
Install and maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Use drawings and manuals to guide repairs and installations.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions efficiently.
Dismantle and reassemble machinery safely for component replacement.
Operate a range of hand and power tools related to electrical and metalworking tasks.
Assist shipping/receiving and mentor junior staff.
Follow OSHA Lockout/Tagout and company safety policies.
