Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Service Technician to maintain and repair additive manufacturing equipment in a 24/7 shop environment. You will perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, routine preventative maintenance, and assist with installation of production machinery.

The role requires reading mechanical blueprints, strong problem solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Shift timing is evenings into early mornings, with focus on safety and uptime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience in industrial machine service or machine-building.
• Experience with electro-mechanical and pneumatics assemblies.
• Familiarity troubleshooting complex systems as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventative maintenance on Additive Metal Printers.
• Prioritize activities to minimize downtime.
• Maintain 3D printing systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fiber laser).
• Collaborate with Operations, Machine Build and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Provide status updates on assigned projects.
• Assist with installation of equipment in production.
• Read mechanical blueprints to perform maintenance duties.
• Follow Environmental Health and Safety policies.
