Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in Devens, MA is seeking a Machine Service Technician to keep our industrial laser manufacturing equipment running smoothly on a 6:00 am–6:00 pm shift (Mon-Wed, every other Thu).

You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, read blueprints, and collaborate with operations and engineering to minimize downtime. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial service or machine-building, experience with electro-mechanical and pneumatics, and the ability to work in a 24/7

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial machine service or equivalent experience.
• Experience with electro-mechanical and pneumatics assemblies.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform preventative maintenance on Additive Metal Printers and related systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fiber laser systems.
• Read mechanical blueprints and install/maintain equipment in production.
• Collaborate with Operations, Machine Build and Engineering to resolve issues promptly.
• Provide status updates to management on assigned projects.
• Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety policies.
