Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. is hiring a Machine Service Technician to support the 24/7/365 operations on our advanced additive manufacturing machines.

You will perform preventative maintenance, handle mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure optimal uptime on our metal printers in a high-precision environment. The role requires hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems, pneumatics, and reading mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial machine service or machine-building roles.
• Experience with electro-mechanical and pneumatic assemblies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventative maintenance on additive metal printers.
• Prioritize maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain 3D printing systems: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fiber laser.
• Collaborate with Operations, Machine Build and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Identify updates to TPMs based on observations.
• Provide status updates on assigned projects to management.
• Assist with installation of equipment in production.
• Read mechanical blueprints to perform maintenance duties.
• Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety policies.
