Aerotek is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician in Minnesota to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure high uptime and accuracy on a shop floor.
The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and controls expertise, including PLCs, servo drives, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, with a focus on safe, compliant maintenance practices.
The CNC Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs CNC machines and related production equipment to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and accuracy. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and controls expertise to support daily operations, reduce unplanned downtime, and continuously improve machine performance.

The role is based in a production and manufacturing environment working with CNC mills, lathes, routers, grinders, and associated auxiliary equipment. The technician regularly works with electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and control technologies such as PLCs, servo drives, relays, and sensors. The environment emphasizes safety, including strict adherence to lockout/tagout procedures and safe maintenance practices around heavy machinery and energized equipment. Work is hands-on and performed on the shop floor, where conditions may include noise from machines, moving equipment, and the need to navigate around production lines and maintenance areas.
This is a Permanent position based out of Chaska, MN.
The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
This is a fully onsite position in Chaska,MN.
