Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience maintaining CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and diagnosing CNC controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues involving CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar systems.
• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Install, test, and commission new equipment and machine upgrades.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, meters, and calibration equipment to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and applicable regulations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, minimizing equipment downtime, and ensuring CNC machines operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment, along with strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred
• 3+ years of industrial or CNC maintenance experience
• Strong understanding of CNC machine controls and manufacturing equipment
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, including reading electrical schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in precision alignment and machine repair
• Experience troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Proficiency using diagnostic equipment, electrical meters, and calibration tools
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining CNC mills, lathes, and automated manufacturing equipment
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar CNC control systems
• Technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical technology, or a related field
• Experience supporting continuous improvement and preventive maintenance initiatives
