Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is recruiting an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician for a precision machining manufacturer in Billerica, MA. You will keep advanced CNC machinery running, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems, and develop preventive maintenance programs.

This direct-hire role offers a Mon-Thu 6:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule with overtime as needed, a clean modern facility, and long-term growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and ladder logic.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machining equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs.
• Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, ladder logic, and machine documentation.
• Repair and service machine components.
• Run CNC machines to verify repairs and machine performance.
• Accurately document maintenance activities and completed repairs.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machining equipment

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and ladder logic
• Experience working with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
