Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance Department in supporting safety, quality and productivity goals. You will maintain, program, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities include commissioning CNC equipment, solving machine issues, reducing downtime, and keeping maintenance data organized for cross-functional teams. Leadership and adherence to policies are essential.

Qualifications

Post-high school education required or equivalent.
3–5 years in machine repair and maintenance; 1–3 years in people management.
Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and control technology, and welding.
Knowledge of safe equipment practices, laws and regulations.
Experience with hazardous waste/material handling procedures.
Proficient with precision tools, measuring instruments and hand tools.
Familiarity with Excel, Word, Outlook, and business software.
Understanding of company policies and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

Programs input/output, maintains and repairs CNC manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Troubleshoots machine hardware and software using CNC skills and schematics.
Minimizes downtime by preventive maintenance to support productivity goals.
Maintains and organizes machine and maintenance data for others to use.
Promotes quality improvements and provides training when required.
Demonstrates leadership in attendance, work ethic, and adaptability.
May assist in recruiting, training staff, and evaluating performance.
