Job summary

C&M Precision Tech is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance efforts, tackle complex equipment challenges, and keep our production moving at peak performance. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, mentor technicians, and drive downtime reduction through effective PM programs.

You will install, maintain, and repair production machinery, interpret prints and schematics, and coordinate with outside contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience leading or mentoring maintenance teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience with CNC, Swiss, and Lathe diagnostics and repair (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Maintenance Technicians.
• Audit and improve Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs and practices.
• Act as the key point of contact for outside contractors and vendors.
• Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues, minimizing downtime.
• Interpret and work from prints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Develop and execute emergency repair plans for high-priority equipment issues.
• Assess equipment condition and recommend repair or replacement strategies.
• Manage multiple maintenance projects while meeting deadlines.
• Create, track, and close work orders with accurate and actionable data.
• Continuously improve maintenance processes and documentation.
• Research and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and repair vendors.
• Support purchasing activities, including parts sourcing and PO submissions.
