Job summary

GTC Manufacturing is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to diagnose and repair CNC and manual machinery, minimizing downtime on the production floor. You will perform scheduled and condition-based preventive maintenance and coordinate with external service providers for specialized tasks.

The role requires reading mechanical drawings, understanding CNC controls, and using test equipment to verify repairs. Safety and uptime are priorities on this site.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years maintaining CNC/manual machine tools.
Experience reading mechanical drawings and interpreting electrical schematics.
Hands-on knowledge of CNC controls (Siemens/Fanuc/Heidenhain) and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair equipment swiftly to minimize downtime.
Perform scheduled and condition-based preventive maintenance.
Source and order parts to complete corrective and preventive work.
Partner with external service providers when specialized support is needed.
