The role involves programming, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and training staff. Strong knowledge of electrical/hydraulic/control systems and welding is essential.

Qualifications

Post-high school education is required.
3–5 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance; 1–3 years of experience managing people.
Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology, and welding.
Working knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Demonstrate knowledge of hazardous materials handling procedures and practices.
Working knowledge of precision tools, measuring instruments, and other hand tools.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business software.
Preferred understanding of company policies, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

Programs input/output, maintains and repairs CNC manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Troubleshoots machine hardware and software problems using CNC skills and schematics.
Supports productivity by minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and problem recognition.
Maintains and organizes machine and maintenance data for use by others.
Promotes quality improvements and provides training when required.
Demonstrates leadership in attendance, work ethic, and alignment with company goals; may assist in recruiting and staff development.
