6 Degrees Search seeks a hands-on Preventative Maintenance Technician to support a precision CNC manufacturing environment. The role performs scheduled maintenance on CNC machine tools and related equipment to maximize uptime, reliability, and accuracy.

You will work with production to identify issues before downtime, perform routine PM tasks, document maintenance logs, and follow strict safety procedures including lockout/tagout.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in preventative maintenance in CNC machining or manufacturing.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and coolant systems.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to document maintenance logs and keep organized records.

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, and machining centers.
• Inspect, lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace machine components as required.
• Maintain lubrication, coolant, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect and replace filters, belts, hoses, seals, fluids, and wear items.
• Coordinate complex repairs with internal resources or vendors as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance schedules, service records, and logs.
• Schedule maintenance with production to minimize downtime.
• Follow lockout/tagout safety procedures and keep a clean, safe workspace.
