Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting CNC machine tools in a precision machining environment.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex CNC equipment problems across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with CNC controls, servo systems, drives, motors, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related components.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, root-cause troubleshooting, and machine uptime.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance activities in a large, high-precision CNC machining operation.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and repair support for CNC machine tools and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, and machine-related problems.
• Develop, manage, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs for CNC equipment and facility systems.
• Coordinate with technicians and outside machine-tool service providers to quickly identify root causes and restore production.
• Support installation, commissioning, relocation, and startup of new CNC machinery and tooling as the company expands.
