Job summary

SkillSource Tech is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Maintenance Technician to keep precision manufacturing equipment running smoothly. You will work on a shop floor with CNC lathes, mills, and related equipment, performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate combines strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience maintaining CNC equipment and automated manufacturing systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years maintaining CNC machine tools in a precision environment.
• Strong knowledge of CNC controls and servo systems; reading electrical/hydraulic diagrams.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals; basic PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair CNC machines including lathes and machining centers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults on CNC equipment.
• Work with CNC controls and PLC systems to identify root causes of downtime.
• Perform spindle alignment and accuracy checks to maintain tolerances.
• Coordinate with machinists and inspectors to minimize production disruptions.
