Job summary

Mach Industries is seeking an experienced Asset Maintenance Lead to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of CNC and critical manufacturing equipment. This hands-on role focuses on reliability and uptime across our operations, partnering with Engineering, Facilities, EHS, and Operations.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting CNC machining equipment.
• Experience with major CNC manufacturers such as DMG MORI, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or DN Solutions/Doosan.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills including bearings, spindles, lubrication systems, hydraulics and cooling.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, sensors, and machine control systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and OEM manuals.
• Experience developing or executing preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience with CMMS or maintenance/work-order platforms.
• Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for CNC machines and critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, lubrication, cooling, and control failures.
• Coordinate OEM service, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Diagnose faults, alarms, and recurring issues; drive root-cause analysis.
• Support installation, commissioning, relocation, and startup of equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing during upgrades and modifications.
• Maintain knowledge of supporting utilities (air, power, cooling, exhaust, lubrication).
• Mentor maintenance technicians and develop work instructions.
