Job summary

OPW, a Dover Corporation company, is seeking skilled CNC machinists for our Whitsett, NC facility. The role operates CNC mills and lathes, reads blueprints, and performs quality checks with gauges while maintaining safety standards.

The position offers a Friday–Sunday 7:00 am–7:00 pm schedule with potential overtime. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, machining training, and strong math and measurement skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years’ experience running CNC machines (Tornos, Mori-Seiki, New Britain, Mazak, Citizen, Kingsbury, Riello, Hydromat, Doosan, Daewoo, Bridgeport, Frontier)
• Experience using Go/No-go gauges, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges and concentricity gauges to inspect
• Load bars into bar feeders contingent upon part
• Ensure coolant lines are properly set and flowing
• Demonstrate safe manual deburring techniques
• Ability to understand tool layouts
• Demonstrate manufacturing problem solving and escalation
• Ability to work safely and follow all safety procedures
