Job summary

OPW Global in Whitsett, NC is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to run mills and lathes for valve and regulator parts. The role requires reading blueprints, performing quality checks, and maintaining safe operation with basic maintenance tasks.

Base schedule is Friday–Sunday, 7:00 am–7:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates should have 3–5+ years CNC experience, proficiency with Go/No-go gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other metrology tools, and the ability to lift 45 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Machining or Trade school training preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run CNC mills and lathes to produce valve and regulator parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and setup instructions.
• Perform quality checks with gauging equipment.
• Load bars into bar feeders and manage coolant flow.
• Maintain safe operating procedures and basic preventive maintenance.
• Understand tool layouts and participate in problem solving.
• Work as a team and adapt to changing production needs.
• Lift up to 45 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
