Express Employment International (US) Lorain location is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator / Set-Up Technician to set up, operate, and monitor CNC equipment. You will read blueprints, install tooling, and ensure parts meet specs in a fast-paced production setting.

The role requires 50-lb lifting, attention to detail, and teamwork with programmers and quality staff to hit production targets while upholding safety standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience operating CNC machines and setting up equipment is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is required.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators is expected.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets as required.
• Perform first-piece inspections and verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain quality.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work with supervisors, programmers, quality personnel, and team members to meet production goals.
