Job summary

Randstad LLC is currently working with a Solon, Ohio manufacturing client seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a full-time permanent role. The candidate will set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to produce machined parts per blueprints, while following safety guidelines and ensuring top-quality output.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, validating part dimensions with micrometers and calipers, and collaborating with team members to meet production schedules in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Two years of relevant CNC/machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates CNC and Tool & Die equipment to produce quality machined parts.
• Plans sequence of operations applying knowledge of materials.
• Operate multiple CNC/Tool & Die machines for various parts.
• Read drawings, route sheets, schedules, and instructions.
• Measure parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure specifications.
• Ensure safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
• Report equipment issues and document production records.
• Possibly extended hours to meet production needs.
