Job summary

Sabert Corporation is seeking a CNC Machinist Programmer to join our New Product Development team in Fort Wayne, IN. You will program, prepare and machine prototypes and production tooling components, while maintaining safe, clean, and efficient shop conditions.

The role emphasizes aggressive scheduling and delivering high-quality machined tooling, with experience in Mastercam and G/M-code programming, reading blueprints, and working with various metals and plastics.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC programming using Mastercam.
• Ability to read blueprints and set up tooling.
• Proficiency with G and M codes for CNC machines.
• Willingness to work extended hours when required.
• Safety and quality conscious.

Responsibilities

• Program supplied CAD models for prototypes and tooling.
• Machine and fabricate new products for the NPD department.
• Maintain schedule to maximize CNC utilization.
• Design and fabricate plugs, assists, jigs as needed.
• Operate Bridgeport mills and horizontal lathes as required.
• Ensure tooling and cutters are maintained and inspected.
