Job summary

Sabert is seeking a CNC Machinist Programmer to join the New Product Development department in Fort Wayne, IN. The role focuses on programming, preparing, and machining new product prototypes and production tooling components in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will work with Mastercam, perform setups, tool calibration, and maintain quality standards while adhering to safety guidelines and production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-5+ years machinist experience.
• Mastercam experience and proficiency with CAM programming.
• Ability to operate and maintain CNC tooling and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and machine prototypes and production tooling components.
• Maintain CNC tool room with proper tools, cutters, and measurement devices.
• Interface with designers, engineers, and shop personnel to ensure quality and schedule.
• Optimize processes and provide input for reliability and tooling improvements.
