Job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team in Woodridge, IL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, particularly Twin Spindle Lathes. MasterCam programming experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves a cradle-to-grave approach—taking a part from start to full production. Key tasks include:

• Programming parts from scratch using MasterCam, Autodesk Inventor HSM/CAM.
• Selecting material sizes for component production.
• Building and documenting setups for CNC operations.
• Performing setups and gaging parts to ensure accuracy.
• Reading and modifying blueprints for machining requirements.
• Routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper function.
• Completing production log paperwork and tracking job progress.
• Calculating feeds and speeds to optimize machining efficiency.
• Selecting and designing tooling and fixturing for component production.
• Consulting with engineering for production modifications and improvements.
