Role Summary:

Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This includes fabrication, modification, or repair of mechanical instruments, as well as parts for machine tools or industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

Shift: 2nd Shift: M-F, 4pm-12:30am

Responsibilities Include:

• Operating machine or equipment following established procedures.
• Performing operational tasks as per instructions.
• Assisting in maintaining and repairing equipment.
• Adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Ensuring work quality and compliance with regulatory codes.
• Using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and tolerances.
• Communicating courteously with colleagues.
• Understanding and applying policies and procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of CNC machining experience.
• CNC programming skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Manual machining experience is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $30.79 - $46.21 per hour.
