Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a CNC Machinist in Suwanee, GA for a direct-hire role. The position requires setting up and operating Hurco CNC machines to produce precision metal parts according to blueprints and quality standards.

We offer daytime schedules (7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM) and a pay rate based on experience. Candidates should have Hurco experience, blueprint-reading skills, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Hurco CNC machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient reading of mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to perform quality checks and ensure tolerances.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Hurco CNC machines to produce precision metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining specifications.
• Load and adjust tools, offsets, and machine settings as needed.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain accurate dimensions and part quality.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools for quality checks.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and maintain a clean work area.
