Qualifications

Responsibilities

CNC Machinist - 1st Shift

Pay: $23.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience
Shift: 1st Shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, No weekends

Job Description We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. This position requires previous CNC machining experience, strong math skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and prints accurately. The CNC Machinist will primarily operate a Hurco 3-Axis CNC machine and Leadwell CNC lathe. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hurco 3-Axis CNC machining equipment
• Operate Leadwell CNC lathe
• Read and interpret blueprints, prints, drawings, and specifications
• Use measurements and calculations to accurately produce parts to print
• Set up and operate CNC equipment as required
• Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions
• Identify and troubleshoot basic machining and production issues
• Maintain equipment and a clean, organized work area
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures
• Perform other machining and production duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machining experience is required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/prints is required
• Strong math skills and ability to work with measurements and tolerances
• Good computer skills
• Experience operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes
• Hurco CNC experience is preferred
• Leadwell lathe experience is preferred
• Experience with presses, drills, manual lathes, or other machining/fabrication equipment is a plus
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
