Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a CNC Machinist in Atlanta, GA. The position involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC milling centers and engine lathes to produce precision parts with tight tolerances on a Monday–Friday 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM).

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants should have CNC machining experience, CAM software and G-code proficiency, and the ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining and manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with CAM software and G-code programming.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Experience performing inspections with precision gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC milling centers and engine lathes.
• Create and modify CNC programs using CAM software and G-code.
• Manufacture precision parts per blueprint specifications and quality standards.
• Design, modify, and maintain fixtures, tooling, and setup hardware.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with precision gauges.
• Train production operators on machining processes and inspection procedures.
