Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a CNC Machinist Lead to oversee CNC operations and guide a team toward safe, accurate, and efficient production of high-quality parts.

You will program, operate, and optimize CNC machinery, read complex drawings, and drive continuous improvement across workflows. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist and 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program required.
  • High attention to detail with strong reading of blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, program, and operate CNC machines for drilling, grinding, and milling tasks.
  • Lead and supervise a team of machinists; coordinate workflow to meet production goals.
  • Read blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Translate drawings into CNC programs and verify machine setup before production.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure conformity with tolerances and specifications.
  • Perform daily maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and part quality.
