Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Missouri is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee safe and efficient operation of CNC mills, lathes and assembly lines while guiding hourly union staff. The role reports to the Assembly Manager and requires coordinating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to meet customer deadlines.

Ideal candidates will have CNC programming knowledge, strong problem-solving ability, and experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP a plus) within ISO 9001:2015

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of supervision experience.
• Proficiency in CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code); Siemens and Fanuc knowledge is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of CNC machining processes including milling and turning.
• Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills; Power BI a plus.
• ERP/MRP experience required, SAP a plus.
• Lean experience preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
• Ability to analyze processes and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular quality checks on machined and assembled parts.
• Troubleshoot CNC machine issues.
• Interpret policies and enforce safety regulations.
• Interpret blueprints and job orders and assign duties.
• Coordinate flow of work within and between departments to drive on-time delivery.
• Verify production orders and drawings are correct.
• Respond to lead time requests and expedite needs.
• Draft new work instructions.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive improvements.
• Participate in Production Control meetings.
• Maintain positive relations with the Union.
