Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship required.
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program required.
  • Proven skill operating CNC machinery, tooling, and precision measurement instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Computer proficiency with basic programming and CAD/CAM knowledge.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, programming, and operating CNC machines for drilling, grinding, and milling.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Translating instructions into computer commands for machine function.
  • Loading raw materials, performing test runs, and adjusting settings.
  • Setting machines for full production cycles to fabricate large quantities.
  • Supervising machine operations, making adjustments, and troubleshooting.
  • Inspecting and measuring finished products for conformity.
  • Performing daily maintenance checks to ensure machine functionality.
