Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead CNC milling, turning and assembly operations. You will manage hourly union staff, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

The role requires hands-on supervision, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams to optimize production performance and material flow.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Proficient in CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code).
• In-depth knowledge of CNC milling and turning processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient PC skills; Power BI a plus.
• Identify root causes and implement solutions promptly.
• ERP/MRP experience; SAP a plus.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 QMS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production progress and address bottlenecks to maintain efficiency.
• Conduct regular quality checks of machined and assembled parts.
• Troubleshoot CNC machine issues and optimize tooling.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
• Interpret drawings/blueprints and assign duties accordingly.
• Coordinate workflow between departments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Draft and revise work Instructions; support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve production methods and reduce waste.
• Maintain positive relations with unions and staff.
