Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to program with some supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDM's, and CNC lathes within specified tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling in machines as part of the new setup.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work with close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Improve and produce work Instructions.
• Assist Engineering with fixtures redesign to increase quality and productivity.
• Ensure product quality by OOQ standards and using measuring equipment.
• Propose adjusted speeds and feeds for different machining requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Ensure safe working practices and report safety issues.
• Record activities in job tracking system.
