Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot programs, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.

The role requires maintaining equipment, following GMP/GDP practices, and producing high-precision components while adhering to schedules and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience preferred.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling.
• Perform difficult CNC machining with very close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Assist Engineering with fixture redesigns to improve quality and productivity.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Record activities in the job tracking system.
• Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
