Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II/III for 2nd or 3rd shift in Tyngsborough, MA. The role requires 3+ years of CNC machining experience and the ability to operate, set up and maintain CNC machines to tight tolerances.

You will perform precision turning/milling on diverse metals, follow work instructions, document activities, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while upholding GMP-like practices and safe work habits.

Qualifications

• Operate and set up CNC machines following work instructions and drawings.
• Run multiple CNC machines with close tolerances.
• Use measuring tools to ensure OOQ compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within specified tolerances.
• Perform difficult CNC machining including progressive machining of varied parts and metals.
• Change tooling and make minor offsets for wear.
• Ensure product quality per OOQ standards and use measuring equipment.
• Perform routine PMs and maintain machine readiness.
• Record activities in the job tracking system and support CI initiatives.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area.
