Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II for 2nd or 3rd shift in Massachusetts. You will operate and set up CNC machines, read engineering drawings, and maintain tight tolerances while upholding GMP-like safety standards.

You will perform routine maintenance, record outputs, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates should have 3+ years of CNC experience and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience of working in a production environment, preferred
• GCSE/NVQ Math and English is desirable (UK only)

Responsibilities

• Operate and Set-up CNC machines within tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work including progressive machining of various parts and metals.
• Change dull tooling, or make minor offsets and adjustments for wear.
• Ensure product quality by using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily machine checklist and PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safe working practices and report safety issues.
• Meet productivity targets and identify improvements.
• Record activities on the job tracking system.
