Job summary

Fralock is seeking a CNC Machinist II to join its Fremont, CA facility onsite. You will program, set up, and operate CNC machines, ensure parts meet specifications, and maintain records and equipment. The role reports to the Machine Shop Supervisor and runs 2:00pm–10:30pm with full benefits.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of CNC or related machining experience, GD&T knowledge, blueprint reading, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years operating CNC, manual, Blanchard or surface grinders preferred.
• GD&T experience.
• Read and follow blue prints and diagrams.
• Use metrology hand-tools for product inspection.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery to ensure the equipment is in good working order before start-up.
• Set up and adjust off-sets to close-tolerance specifications.
• Interpret and execute written instructions from process travelers, routers and work instructions.
• Perform in-process inspection of product to ensure specifications and quality requirements are met.
• Perform routine machine maintenance as required.
• Follow safety protocol.
• Report any safety or maintenance concerns to supervisor and/or management immediately.
• Keep all work areas clean and organized.
