Job summary

Fralock seeks a CNC Programmer II to create CAD/CAM programs and convert files from DXF and PDF on AutoCAD, Mastercam, and Zund Cut Center software. The role sets up the CNC Mill and Zund digital equipment to process jobs using materials such as Q2, Cirlex, Graphfoil, and Copperfoil, while meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities include program creation, file transfer, machinery setup, tool changes, and first article inspection, with collaboration across Quality, Engineering, and Operations

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of CAD/CAM programming and multiple CAM packages.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and quality documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for machining processes.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with CNC programming.
• Ability to work both independently and in team settings.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD/CAM programs and convert DXF/PDF formats.
• Set up machines, operate multiple machining centers, and program tooling.
• Lead first article inspection and ensure parts meet specs.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize speeds, feeds, and setups.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams.
