Job summary

Fralock is an engineered solutions provider specializing in high reliability components. This full-time CNC Operator position is onsite in California and offers medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and PTO.

You will set up and run CNC equipment, work with materials like Q2, Cirlex, Graphfoil, and Copperfoil, and ensure quality and on-time delivery. The role requires reading blueprints, loading programs, adjusting tooling, and collaborating with Quality and Engineering.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED; or two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with CNC setup and operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines, operate multiple machining centers and equipment.
• Perform machine setups, including tooling selection, fixture loading, and program loading.
• Make machine adjustments, offsets, and tooling changes to maintain machining quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Monitor machine performance and support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, travelers, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify part conformance and maintain accurate quality documentation.
• Submit first article inspection to ensure parts meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineer, and Operations teams to support production goals, tooling improvements, fixtures development, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to other machine operators.
• Cross-train and rotate across multiple workstations to support production needs and efficiency.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with Supervisors, Production Leads, and peers to support department goals.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures, including PPE requirements for a clean room environment.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area using safety standards and expectations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
