Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist II for the 3rd shift to produce machined parts while upholding quality and safety standards. You will set up and operate CNC machines, read engineering drawings, and ensure production targets are met.

Responsibilities include handling tooling changes, performing measurements with calipers and micrometers, and maintaining equipment per PM schedules. We value accuracy, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Math and English is desirable (UK only)

Responsibilities

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within tolerances.
• Perform progressive machining of various parts and metals with tight tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets as needed.
• Ensure product quality with OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Maintain PM schedule and perform routine maintenance.
• Record activities in the job tracking system.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area.
