TECOMET seeks a 2nd or 3rd shift CNC Machinist with 3+ years of experience to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines and maintaining quality and safety standards. You will keep records, maintain equipment, and follow GMP/GDP while meeting performance metrics.

You will operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines, perform tool changes, and ensure parts meet close tolerances. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in this production environment in Newton, MA.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work including progressive machining of a variety of parts and different metals with very close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling, and/or make minor offsets and adjustments for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality by following OOQ standards and using measuring equipment and reading readings.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily machine checklist and adhere to PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safe working practices and report Safety, Health & Environmental issues.
• Achieve productivity targets and identify ways to improve productivity.
• Record activities in the job tracking system.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities.
• Elevate manufacturing issues to Team Leader/Supervisor for resolution.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

Educación
