Job summary

TECOMET in West Medford, MA seeks an experienced CNC Machinist II for 2nd or 3rd shift with 3+ years of CNC experience. You will operate, set up and maintain CNC machines, read engineering drawings, and ensure tolerances are met while upholding quality and safety standards.

This role emphasizes continuous improvement, precise measurement, and timely tool changes. You will work with multiple metals, perform routine PMs, and contribute to a productive, safe manufacturing environment with a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances.
• Perform progressive machining of parts with close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and adjust offsets as needed.
• Ensure product quality by using measuring equipment and OOQ standards.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM checklist and document results.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safe working practices and report safety issues.
• Meet productivity targets and seek productivity improvements.
• Record activities in job tracking system and support CI activities.
