Ultimate Staffing in Haverhill, MA is seeking CNC Machinists for multiple openings. Direct Hire with shifts 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; pay range $54,000–$81,000+ depending on experience, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Roles include setting up and operating CNC lathes and HMCs, reading blueprints, GD&T, and conducting in-process inspections. Senior staff may train and mentor others while improving processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with CNC lathes, horizontal machining centers, routers, or multi-axis equipment.
• Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and GD&T requirements.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and tooling as needed.
• Perform in-process inspections with precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues.
• Optimize processes and improve efficiency.
• Machine parts to tight tolerances while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with team to support production goals.
• Senior-level candidates may train or mentor others and drive process improvements.
