Staffmark Group in Glenview, IL is seeking a CNC Machinist for a direct-hire role. You will program, set up, and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components for production runs.

This position requires 5+ years of CNC experience, proficiency with G-Code and Fusion 360, and the ability to read blueprints. A 1st shift schedule and a $1,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days are offered, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade/technical training or machining certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, work instructions, and technical documents in English.
• Strong shop math skills including speeds, feeds, tolerances, and machining parameters.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage machining projects from programming and setup through final production.
• Set up, program, and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components.
• Program using Haas Conversational Programming, G-Code, and Fusion 360 software.
• Operate manual mills, lathes, and shop equipment as needed.
• Read blueprints and CAD drawings to manufacture parts per specifications and tolerances.
• Calculate and adjust speeds, feeds, depth of cut, tooling, and coolant flow for optimal performance.
• Inspect finished parts with micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
