RTX is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for its McKinney, TX location. This 1st shift, onsite role focuses on producing precision parts for prototype and production runs using multi-axis machinery. You will program with GibbsCAM, set up and operate advanced mills and lathes, and verify parts against engineering drawings.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of experience, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to read complex drawings. Citizenship is required for access to program materials.

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or GED or technical training with relevant experience.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machining centers (vertical/horizontal, lathes, jig bores, trunnions).
• Experience with manual inspection tools and reading engineering drawings.
• Experience with CNC programming and GibbsCAM is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required for program access.

Aufgaben

• Produce precision, high-complexity parts using horizontal/vertical mills, lathes, trunnions, and jig bores.
• Work on varied projects from production components to prototypes.
• Program CNC machines using GibbsCAM.
• Develop machining strategies and fixtures.
• Execute machining on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis equipment.
• Verify parts meet engineering models and drawings.
