Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for our 1st shift in a fast-paced, prototype-focused environment. You will program GibbsCAM, set up 3- to 5-axis equipment, and verify parts against drawings in a tight-tolerance setting.

We value experience with GD&T and manual inspection tools, and require U.S. citizenship. Onsite role with strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machining centers.
• Experience with manual inspection tools and interpreting drawings.
• Experience with CNC programming and GD&T understanding.

Responsibilities

• Produce precision, high-complexity parts on horizontal/vertical mills and lathes.
• Work on varied projects including prototypes and production components.
• Program CNCs using GibbsCAM and develop machining strategies.
• Set up fixtures and execute 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining.
• Verify parts meet models and drawings.
