RTX in the US is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and prove-in complex equipment, performing production work on mills and lathes with precision parts. You will apply GD&T to ensure conformance and troubleshoot programs and tooling.

Requirements include at least three years of CNC experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain ATF clearance. This onsite role offers a robust benefits package and union context as stated.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years setting up and operating CNC machinery.
• Experience with mills and lathes in production setups and troubleshooting.
• Experience reading blueprints with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficient with inspection tools: micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
• Able to pass a qualifying and/or practical test.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to work any shift, including overnight.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance.

Responsabilités

• Set up and prove-in complex precision production hardware with UPMF.
• Produce parts from standard to exotic materials using CNC and conventional machines.
• Assess machine/tooling adequacy to meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot programs, tooling, and machines as needed.
• Apply GD&T and inspection equipment to maintain tolerances.
• Provide show floor assistance to Machine Operators to sustain efficiency.
