Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a fast-paced, rapid response environment. You will produce precision parts on multi-axis machines, program using GibbsCAM, and develop fixtures while ensuring conformance to engineering drawings.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of CNC experience, familiarity with 5-axis operations and Fanuc/Arumatik controls, and strong inspection and GD&T skills. Relocation benefits are not listed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machining centers (vertical/horizontal), lathes, jig bores, and/or trunnions.
• Experience with manual inspection tools and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience with CNC programming and reading GD&T on complex components.

Responsibilities

• Produce precision, high-complexity parts on horizontal/vertical mills, lathes, trunnions, and jig bores.
• Program CNC machines using GibbsCAM.
• Develop machining strategies and associated fixtures.
• Execute machining on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis equipment.
• Verify parts meet engineering models and drawings.
