Leidos is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join the Mechanical Manufacturing team in Huntsville, AL. The role involves programming, setup, and operation of CNC mills and lathes, with opportunities across 1st, 2nd, and weekend shifts based on experience.

The ideal candidate has experience reading drawings, CAD models, and working with aerospace components, including 5-axis or mill-turn processes. Candidates must be able to lift 35+ pounds and work full-time on all shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with at least 2 years of precision machining experience on CNC mills and lathes.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and CAD models.
• 5-axis and/or mill-turn experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings and CAD models to produce precision parts.
• Manufacture aerospace components from exotic materials; experience with titanium is a plus.
• Work in a fast-paced R&D environment with limited supervision.
