Job summary

Chromalloy Carson City is seeking a CNC Operator to join the Blade Manufacturing team. You will set up, program, and run CNC and conventional machines to manufacture critical aerospace components. If you value precision, quality, and reliable production, we want to hear from you.

In this hands-on role, you will load programs, set up tooling, inspect parts with precision tools, and ensure conformity to specifications. Shifts are first, with potential overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines.
• Load and edit machine programs as needed.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials.
• Produce parts to engineering and production specifications.
• Inspect and measure parts using precision measuring tools.
• Perform minor part modifications and finishing work.
• Follow assembly, production, and quality requirements.
• Utilize computerized production tracking systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
