Job summary

Watts is hiring a Machinist to perform precision machining, CNC program adjustments, machine setup and operation at our Menomonee Falls, WI facility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and drive efficiency.

The role requires 3+ years of machining experience, familiarity with CNC lathes/mills, and a strong focus on safety and process improvement in a live production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of machining experience working with lathes and mills.
• Experience in reading engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Understanding of safety rules and quality systems (e.g., inspection with precision tools).
• Able to set up and operate CNC and manual machines in a manufacturing cell.

Responsibilities

• Modify and fine-tune CNC programs for efficiency and accuracy.
• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines, including multi-axis systems.
• Diagnose machining and equipment issues and escalate as needed.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce cycle times and improve quality.
